Respect your students and let them know you love them. At the end of the day, they just want to know you care. Take the time to make individual connections and assure them you are on their side, helping them be the best they can be. Be firm but loving, have clear expectations, remain consistent, and find the positive in anything and everything.

At just 11 years old, Forsythe Middle School sixth grader Elliott Galvin has already achieved what many aspiring game developers only dream about: publishing his own video game. Elliott recently released Omega Meteors on itch.io, his own version of the arcade game, Asteroids.

Skyline Theatre invites you on a journey full of laughs and nostalgia with Leaving Iowa.

The play will be performed Nov. 14-16 at Skyline High School, 2552 N. Maple Road. Shows are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

The Ann Arbor Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People recognized 236 Ann Arbor Public Schools high school students at their annual Freedom Fund Dinner. The students were recognized for maintaining a 3.2 grade point average or above during the 2024-25 school year. 

Pioneer High School delivered a spectacular performance at the MHSAA Lower Peninsula Division 1 Cross Country Finals on Saturday at Michigan International Speedway, with the girls capturing the state championship and the boys finishing as runners-up in a historic day for the program.
